Information from the organisers

On 5 February 2021, the International Criminal Court (ICC) opened an investigation regarding the situation in Palestine. Due to external pressure, the investigation did not advance.

Now, in the midst of this terrible bombardment of the Palestinian province of Gaza, there have been widespread calls for an investigation of Israeli actions in terms of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Karim Khan, the prosecutor at the ICC, stood at the Rafah Crossing into Gaza and said that impeding the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza is a crime under ICC jurisdiction.

This webinar will focus on Israel’s actions against the Palestinians in Gaza and the war crimes and crimes against humanity being conducted by the Israeli government and its military.
