We need an alliance between the working class movements in the Global North with countries in the Global South demanding reparations and a recognition that socialist countries are part of the solution and this has to be forged in the struggle.
The present Tory offensive is the biggest attack on the majority of the population in the lifetime of all except the very oldest in this country. The political stakes are that high.
On September 27 Hurricane Ian struck Cuba, causing damage not seen during previous tropical cyclones.
Whilst Cuba is a world leader in hurricane preparedness and disaster management, the US blockade denies Cuba access to the humanitarian assistance it badly needs when such destruction takes place.
