The recent outburst of Victor Orban, President of Hungary claimimg Hungary was “the last bastion against the Islamisation of Europe,” is yet another example of rising Islamophobia in Europe. Furthermore nothing could be further from the truth. Terrorist attacks in Europe emanating from ISIS or linked organisation are a huge problem and action is needed to stop these attacks.

Organisations campaigning against Mohammad bin Salman’s visit have issued the statement below.
The government has responded to the Parliamentary Petition urging the cancellation of the state visit of the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman. The organisations who have opposed his visit have issued the following reply to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office response:
Under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn the Labour Party is opposing the Tories’ racist agenda that scapegoats immigrants for people’s deteriorating living standards.
