Corbyn’s Labour wins elections

The concerted campaign in the capitalist media continues to be mobilised against Jeremy Corbyn as balloting takes place in Labour’s leadership election. Most of the propaganda is not even aimed at promoting the right wing challenger Owen Smith, but just at vilifying the left wing candidate and his supporters.

Get out the vote for Corbyn!

From today ballot papers will be arriving in inboxes and in the post in the Labour leadership contest. It is vital to mobilise support for Jeremy Corbyn not just by voting but also in rallies and meetings, social media and phone banking. All polling data and the overwhelming number of CLPs who were allowed to vote made nominations in support of Jeremy Corbyn. The main danger now is complacency by his supporters. The Labour right are still trying to get as many people as possible excluded from the ballot on the flimsiest of excuses.

All out for Corbyn! – Oppose the threat to split Labour

Labour’s leadership election is the central fight in British politics this summer. Capitalism is determined to block the possibility of a Jeremy Corbyn-led Labour government. It recognises that in Corbyn it faces a determined opponent, who is resolute in his defence of the welfare state, opposition to US military adventures and the promotion of racism.

Mobilise support for Corbyn – he must be on Labour’s ballot paper

Tomorrow (Tuesday 26 July) the Labour right is challenging in the High Court the decision of Labour’s National Executive Committee (NEC) to put Jeremy Corbyn on the ballot paper in the current leadership contest. Having lost the vote at the 12 July NEC the right now wants a High Court judge to block Labour’s membership from being allowed to express its democratic view on who should be leader.
