China eradicates absolute poverty while billionaires go for a joyride to space

In February 2021 China achieved the eradication of extreme poverty. 850 million people had climbed out of absolute poverty. Per capita income has increased ten-fold in the last twenty years and life expectancy has increased to 77.3 years compared to 35 years in 1949.

NATO’s twenty year debacle in Afghanistan

The general condition of Afghanistan after 20 years of NATO intervention is that half the population are in humanitarian need and nearly one in two children will face acute malnutrition in 2021 – UN.
