The fictitious claim that the Tories disastrous Covid policy has achieved a big success has never been challenged by Starmer. Labour is undifferentiated from the Tories on key issues that affect people. Inevitably anti-Tories have found it difficult to find a reason for voting Labour.

Under Starmer Labour has lost a parliamentary seat to the Tories in a town that Labour has held continuously for over 60 years. Leading the Labour Party to the right is having its inevitable outcome.
Parliamentary vote on a non-existent genocide against Uyghurs insults those who suffered real genocides
On22 April the House of Commons will vote on the claim that China is carrying out a genocide against Uyghurs in Xinjiang. There is no genocide and the truth will come out, just as the lies used to justify the disastrous US wars on Iraq and Vietnam were exposed.

Protecting our rights requires vigilance and protest
The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill seeks to restrict citizens’ ability to lawfully protest, and seeks to allow police increased powers to restrict the reasons for protest and the way they handle the events themselves. The police use heavy-handed tactics against women attending the vigil on Clapham Common, following the murder of Sarah Everard, is an indication of the restrictions on protest that the government wants to introduce.
