Health workers and campaigners have achieved a rapid-fire succession of victories against this government’s reactionary policies against migrant workers. These gains should be celebrated and widely popularised.
On Saturday 30 June 2018 join the People’s Assembly Against Austerity to celebrate 70 years of the NHS and protest against the attacks on it.

Thousands marched in London yesterday (Saturday May 18) in defence of the NHS.

Up to 25,000 people marched in Lewisham on Saturday to protest at the closure of the local hospital. The demo was led by trade unionists, especially in the NHS, community groups and local residents. It was supported by unions nationally as well as local MPs and councillors.
