An armed MetropolitanPolice Officer shot Chris Kaba once through the driver’s seat window. One shot. Straight to the head. He died a few hours later.
Join the protests across Britain.
The Met police use disproportionate force against Black and other minoritised children; they use spit-hoods and tasers more often and stop and search them (including strip searching) at far higher rates. There were 9,000 strip searches of children in the past five years alone of which 2000 were under the age of 16. Get police out of our schools.
The government chooses to attack the health and the living standards of the many, it uses racism to divide, distract and scapegoat for its failures. Racism makes life so much harder for Bame women. Let us pledge to march against racism marking UN Anti-Racism Day in London and Glasgow on Saturday March 19 and in Cardiff on Sunday March 20.
