All those who support the public services should actively promote these strikes, alongside the political demands that provide solutions to the current crisis.
The ‘Americanising’ of the British economy and society:
attack real wages and living standards; anti-strike legislation; further privatisation especially of the NHS; roll-back of efforts to tackle climate change; renewed deregulation of the City of London; and whipping up a frenzy against migrants and refugees to act as a distraction.
The unions engaged in this strike wave need political and material support. Labour movement activists, in every locality, should be working together to build up such solidarity.
Support the postal workers!
CWU Royal Mail next strike days:
Friday 9th December, Sunday 11th, Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th.
Everything possible, both within trade unions and from outside, should be done to build and support the wave of strikes.
