The blockage of Qatar – marking the anniversary

Rally – called by the Arab Organisation of Human Rights and supported by the Stop the War Coalition

Tuesday 5 June marks the anniversary of the imposition of the blockade of Qatar imposed by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, UAE are other allied regimes.
This represents an affront to the sovereignty of the people of Qatar, and a restriction of their political and human rights.
The blockade has failed in its purpose, as the Iranian and Turkish governments have assisted in provisioning Qatar.
Inside Qatar the siege is deeply unpopular but the population has refused to be intimidated.
